The Fund Hui

Introduction

The Hawaiian Legal Action Fund (HLAF) is a cooperative effort by Kanaka Maoli throughout our islands and Amelika.

We, individually and collectively believe the remedy to the homelessness, the lack of adequate medical care, education and social economic disparities, lies in the restoration of Hawaii as an independent nation.

One key step to achieve this restoration is to take the U.S. to court. To do so we need to raise the necessary funds to hire a competent law firm to sue for the release of our lands. We hire the best attorneys and sue those that have not only caused the suffering, but those that are still robbing the people of Hawaii of the most basic and fundamental rights of any "civilized society": the right to life, liberty property (i.e. our Mahele Lands) and the pursuit of happiness.
